I am into my 20th consecutive hour of shooting the people of Liuzhou as we bring in The Year of the Tiger. Still four more hours to go but I came in to get warm, clear some memory cards and to post this shot, taken just seconds after midnight in the Xin Yi Bao Bar.

OK, time to go back out and wrap it up. I’ll imagine I’ll get a little sleep before sitting down to post any more photos!

While not totally unexpected, I was saddened today to learn of the passing of Luo Meizhen. At 127, Ms. Luo was purportedly the world’s oldest person ever.
